Mock Job Interview Questions
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I hope that in five years, I will have taken many classes and opportunities to strength my skills in business. With these skills I plan to have a head-start in owning and managing my own company.
What was the last project you led and what was its outcome?
My last project would be the fundraiser for iLEAD Academy. I was the manager for this project and was given many responsibilities such as, overseeing all products being created to be sold, pricing, and inventory. The fundraiser raised around $2,000 for the school clubs and student necessities and was a huge attraction for the community.
What's your management style?
While each management opportunity requires a different approach, the best managers are flexible. No matter the situation, everyone is going to run into a bump and it is important to be able to stop, rethink and adjust your plan. Any time I am taking on a management role, I always make sure to understand my goal. Each opportunity will have a different goal and if I don't completely understand the goal, my plan will stray from the path it needs to be on to achieve that goal.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I have recently taken liking to a new hobby, baking. My high school experience was a little different from others, due to this I faced a variety of stressful situations. In order to overcome the stress I found a relaxing hobby. I love to find dessert recipes on Pinterest and try my best to recreate them. This also gives me an opportunity to connect with my mom and grandmas, because I am always asking them for help and for tips.
What type of work environment do you prefer?
I am pretty flexible when it comes to a work environment. I don't necessarily always need to be in isolation to get things done, I can thrive in a collaborative environment as well. I would love to be able to connect with all the employees, when I need help I want to feel like I can ask for it, and vis versa. I believe an open environment is always best because everyones opinion matters, and having feedback will help grow the company.
